Responsible to: Service Manager – Advice For Families Role and Responsibilities
• Provide high quality accurate advice, information, and representation in line with the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers.
• Facilitate progress towards employment, training, education, and volunteering outcomes through the development of existing links with employability intermediaries, employment support projects as well as third party employment partners.
• Deliver service in a way which is compatible with a rights-based approach.
• Build positive trusting relationships with individuals and families requiring advice.
• Conduct appointments with parents either in person, via telephone or virtually.
• Maintain accurate records on the Advice Pro and Helix recording systems in line with CHAI procedures.
• Manage and maintain ongoing advice casework.
• Communicate effectively with third parties on behalf of your clients. • Signpost people to relevant specialist support services where appropriate.
• Provide consultation support to other professionals on advice issues.
